Journey Of Hamari Aawaaz Foundation

How did it all begin?

Shabeena Khan founded Hamari Aawaaz Foundation in 2016 with a strong vision to empower marginalized communities and support women and children facing social and economic challenges.

Starting from grassroots efforts in Delhi, the foundation began by helping families with education support, basic necessities, and awareness programs. Over time, the initiative expanded into structured programs focusing on women empowerment, skill development, healthcare access, and community welfare.

During the COVID-19 pandemic (2020–21), the organization distributed 1,000 ration kits to daily wage workers and vulnerable families. In 2024, the foundation established a Free Education Centre Project UDAAN , in Noor Jhuggi Okhla where 184 students are currently receiving quality education.

With CSR registration, NITI Aayog certification, and e-Anudaan enrollment, the foundation continues to work toward building a just, inclusive, and opportunity-driven society.
